Meh. First, my wife said her choice was very good. Tasty chicken, legit collards and baked beans also excellent. Same for the white sauce that came with it. Mine however, was a mixed bag. The mac n' cheese was quite good but the smokey joe sandwich was not. Not revolting or anything but it's really just a chili sandwich and not a good one. Service was on point, the menu including beer and wine, same. Outdoor seating is lovely and the inside checks the boxes. I would say, if we go again I will stick with what is the restaurants forte, barbeque and "fixins"

Came here for a double date with some friends and really loved the food, ambiance and love music. The food was excellent and our waiter Daphne was so warm and friendly. She made our time here great. The food here is exquisite. They really go all out to prepare the meat with all the flavors. I was like wow when I had the pulled chicken sandwich on the brioche bread.

The food at this restaurant was really good and full of flavor. Every dish tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and you could tell care was put into the preparation. The flavors were balanced and not overpowering, which made everything very enjoyable. The brisket melt was amazing — the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The fried pickles were perfectly crunchy and very nicely done, adding a great texture to the meal. The asparagus was incredibly well seasoned and cooked to perfection, honestly some of the best asparagus I’ve ever had. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and I would definitely come back again.

Very authentic southern style bbq with a southern California price tag. Very big portions, and authentic Texas style sides. I had a 3 meat platter (Babybacks, Brisket, and Links). It was enough food for 3 meals! So yes, it's pricey, but it's California. No surprise there. But you get portions the size of Texas. Definitely quality slow smoked meats. Ribs were perfect, and the links were super juicy! Loved the brisket as well. Perfectly cooked. Homemade bbq sauces were awesome as well. Prepare for the parking issues.

Rodrigo our server was the absolute best. He was energetic, funny, knowledgeable, and attentive. He gave the best recommendations on the food that did not disappoint one bit. He brought the atmosphere to next level for my group. The food was great, very fresh and super filling, the portions were also very nice. The fried pickles and loaded tots for the appetizers were delicious AND they have southern sweet tea. The banana bread is unmatched as well, and of course the tri tip and asparagus are the real winners here. Overall great location, live music, and good vibes. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
